PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo Police officers are asking for your help identifying a truck or providing information in a large copper theft from late January.
Officers said between 3,000-5,000 pounds of copper was stolen from Black Hills Energy on Jan. 27. The type of copper taken is normally used for high voltage.
Surveillance photos show the suspected truck - an older white or light-colored single cab pickup with a possible brush guard in the front. It also may have a custom black metal tailgate, and the trailer appears to be a flat bed with a drop gate.
Photos of the truck and an example of the copper are in the slideshow above.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (719) 542-7867
