GREELEY, COLO. (AP) -- Greeley police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy who was hit by a car in a shopping center parking lot.
Authorities say German Salgado of Greeley ran from between parked vehicles into the path of an SUV. He was taken to Northern Colorado Medical Center, where he died.
The Greeley Tribune reports that police identified the driver as 51-year-old Janie Smith. Her hometown wasn't available.
No charges have been filed.
