LAMAR, COLO. -- Lamar Police officers found illegal drugs, weapons and cash during a K9 search on a bus in the city Wednesday afternoon.
Officers used a k( to check the Prestige Travel Bus in the 100 block of Holly Street around 12:13 p.m.
When the K9 unit alerted officers to a seat and bag inside the bus, they arrested 27-year-old Casey Loren.
Edward, a Kansas resident, admitted to transporting marijuana to Wichita, Kan. and was returning to the Denver area.
Officers found marijuana, a gun and more than $10,000 in cash on Loren. The cash will be forfeited, and Loren will be charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than two ounces of marijuana and possession of an illegal weapon.
