COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A 15-year-old boy is in custody Monday morning after allegedly threatening his grandmother with a gun that turned out to be plastic.
The grandmother was able to escape the house in the 3000 block of Squaw Valley Drive in Colorado Springs and call police around 2 a.m.
When Colorado Springs Police officers arrived, they found out the boy had been terrorizing the 77-year-old woman for several hours.
Officers set up containment around the house before learning the gun was plastic, then arrested the boy.
