CANON CITY, COLO. -- Canon City Police officers are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a convenience store with a gun early Tuesday morning.
According to the clerk, a man came into the store, showed the clerk a gun and demanded cash around 2:34 a.m. He didn't take the gun out of his waistband but was able to leave the store on Royal Gorge Boulevard with an undisclosed amount of money.
The clerk said the man was white and wore a blue or black hoodie, black pants, black gloves and a mask exposing only two eye holes.
Officers did not say if an approximate height or weight was determined.
Nobody was hurt in the robbery, and a K9 unit could not track down the suspect. Officers are asking anyone with information to contact them at (719) 276-5600.
