COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have found a man thought to have been connected to a double homicide at the Timberlane apartment complex last month.
Investigators had been looking for 22-year-old Rashad Mayo, who is believed to have fled the scene of the shooting with another man.
Monday, officers found Mayo at a home in the 4400 block of Hunting Meadows Circle.
He was taken into custody without incident for a "probation violation."
So far officers have said he has not been charged with a crime in connection with the apartment shooting.
Officers are still searching for the alleged shooter in the killings, 21-year-old Alonzo Paige.
He's facing first degree murder charges for shooting and killing 23-year-old Andrew Encalade and 20-year-old Marquis Bean.
Two others were also injured in the shooting.
