DENVER (AP) -- Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are making last-minute pleas for votes ahead of Colorado's precinct caucuses.
Santorum told about 100 supporters in Colorado Springs this morning that Colorado can "send a message" by giving him a strong showing against Romney, who is expected to place first at the Tuesday evening caucuses.
Romney was at an RV dealership in Loveland Tuesday morning. He addressed several hundred people and blasted President Barack Obama.
Romney won the 2008 Colorado GOP caucuses with more than 60 percent of the vote.
Tuesday evening caucuses are open to the public, though only registered Republicans are allowed to participate in choosing candidates. Local races and the party platform will also be up for discussion. Caucuses begin at 7 p.m.
