Man in hospital after being hit by car

PUEBLO, COLO. -- An early morning crash between a car and a pedestrian in Pueblo left a man with serious injuries Tuesday.

Pueblo Police officers said just before 2 a.m. Tuesday they were sent to the 1100 block of Highway 50 and Frontage Road for a car crash.

When officers arrived on scene they found a man had been hit by a car and was suffering from serious injuries.

He was transported to a near-by hospital.

Officers said the crash is under investigation, and drugs and alcohol are being considered factors in the crash.
