PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo Police officers said a man died Thursday evening after being hit by a car while crossing the Highway 50 bypass near Hudson Avenue.
According to officers, the 48-year-old man was crossing the bypass walking south when a 39-year-old woman hit him with her car.
The man was lying on the street when officers arrived and died shortly after being taken to Parkview Medical Center.
Officers have not released the man or the driver's name and haven't yet said if the driver will face charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
