COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A car ent up in flames just after an early morning collision with pedestrians Friday.
Colorado Springs Police officers said a car heading westbound on Dominion Way near Academy Boulevard failed to make a curve and flew off the right side of the road, hitting two of three pedestrians walking on the sidewalk.
One of the victims took a hit to the arm, another was knocked to the ground.
The driver, 23-year-old Kellen Kostka, drove away from the scene, hit a light pole and continued on Academy to Dublin Boulevard.

Officers believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
