Five people invade trailer, assault resident

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are looking for three men and two women who forced their way into a trailer, injured one of the residents and stole several items early Thursday morning.

Officers said five people knocked on the trailer door at the Meadows Mobile Home Park in the 4800 block of Astrozon Boulevard, then forced their way inside around 3:05 a.m.

One of the two residents began fighting with two of the suspects and was hurt, while the other three went through the trailer and took several items.

The victims said one of the suspects also threatened them by showing a gun.

They described the three men as Hispanics in their early to mid-30s. One was about 5'8" and bald, wearing all dark clothes. One was about 5'10" - 6' and was also bald, wearing dark clothes. They don't have a detailed description on the third man.

The two women were both white and both about 5'8." One is tall with a medium build, with brown hair and wore dark clothes. The other also had brown hair but had a medium build.

The injured resident was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the other resident was not hurt.
