COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- What came in as a call about two drunken men fighting took a different turn for Colorado Springs Police officers Monday night.
Officers were called to the scene in the 300 block of East Brookside Street just after 6 p.m.
Officers said when they were patting down the two men, they found one of the men had been stabbed.
According to officers, the man had who been stabbed was trying to rob the other, elderly man.
The suspect's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, and he was arrested for attempted robbery.
