EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies are looking for 26-year-old Rayshawn Laster.
He's suspected of shooting a woman in an attempted carjacking in the Security-Widefield area Friday night.
A spokesperson said the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the 400 block of Kiva Road.
The victim was found with significant trauma, but still alive.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later died.
Deputies are working the case as a homicide. They did a reverse 911 call to residents in a two mile radius asking them to stay indoors.
Authorities said Lester is armed and dangerous, with a handgun in his possession.
