COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --

Officials with Colorado Springs Gold Hills division said a home in the 700 block of East Vermijo Road had two explosions today.

Police said one man is in custody.

They said a woman called, saying the explosion had shaken her house. She said there was a cloud of smoke about 30 feet high.

When officers arrived, a second explosion happened.

Officials said they believe the explosions were caused from people attempting to make methamphetamine.

The bomb squad was called out to clean up the house, after they were able to get a warrant.

The investigation is ongoing.
