PARKER, COLO. (AP) -- Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a mother of three in a McDonald's parking lot in Parker.
The unidentified woman was shot by a man who drove by in a red pickup truck as her children were waiting inside the restaurant.
Police then searched for the woman's husband, 53-year-old Mark Steven Royer, and found him dead near his truck close to a high school.
The Denver Post reports Royer divorced his wife last year. Court records show that she got a permanent restraining order against him in April after alleging domestic violence.
