COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a man Tuesday evening for allegedly trying to sexually assault a woman in a grocery store bathroom.

Officers arrested Reginald Young at the Safeway in the 3200 block of West Colorado Avenue around 7:04 p.m.

According to the woman, Young came into the bathroom while she was in it and tried to sexually assault her. The woman was able to push Young out of the way and ran out of the bathroom.

Teacher arrested 

Employees and customers at the store detained Young until officers arrived.

Officers said the woman was not hurt.
