OLD COLORADO CITY, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating a business burglary in which someone fired 14 bullets into glass before entering and ransacking the place.

Early Sunday morning someone fired 14 rounds from a semi-automatic 9mm handgun into a plate glass window of a retail business in the 2500 block of West Colorado Avenue in Old Colorado City. After two of the shots shattered the window and made a hole large enough to enter, the suspect ransacked the business.

Officers said a neighbor walking past the business noticed the damage around 4:18 a.m. Sunday and called officers.
