COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Battling it out for Black Friday deals comes down to planning and managing your way through the crazy crowds.

More than 70 million people are expected to hit the stores this weekend in search of a killer deal, but shoppers aren't waiting in the long lines alone.

Black Friday shoppers bring in back up courtesy of their husbands and children.

"It was really nice to get out of the house, this is my first day getting out. [My child is] 8 days old," Baxter Snider said.

Frank Sciacca is spending his Friday shopping with his wife and sisters. He said he'd rather be watching football but Black Friday shopping with the ladies has turned into a tradition.

"We have breakfast together, we go shopping and then we have coffee, and then we have lunch and go shopping," Karen Sciacca, a Black Friday shopper, said.

For the die-hard bargain hunters, Black Friday shopping can be an all-day process.

The the fathers, boyfriends and sons are here for the heavy lifting and support.

So, when they aren't grabbing a shopping cart or trying to organize a plan, they're trying to keep their tired kids calm.

Black Friday shopper Connie Snider brought her two young grandsons, daughter-in-law and son to the stores.

"This is Colt's second Black Friday and Porter's first. He's having a ball," Snider said.
