More than 100 foster children being adopted

DENVER (AP) -- More than 100 foster children in Colorado are being adopted into permanent homes.

Adoption ceremonies are being held around the state on Friday to coincide with National Adoption Day.

In Denver, the adoptions of 51 children are being formalized.

Six children will be adopted in Grand Junction.

Some counties held ceremonies Thursday and others plan to hold theirs on Saturday.
