COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A marijuana deal turns into a robbery and ends up getting worse after the suspects flee and ram into multiple police vehicles.
Colorado Springs Police officers responded to the 200 block of North Murray Boulevard late Thursday night in response to a disturbance involving gunshots.
Officers said when they arrived on scene they saw a black sedan matching the description of the vehicle involved in the disturbance leaving the area.
Officers tried to stop the car, but the driver refused and a chase began.
The chase finally ended at Murray and San Miguel Street when the suspects rammed into multiple police cars.
Officers said the "original disturbance" began when two groups met for a marijuana transaction.
An investigation revealed the suspects from the black sedan displayed guns and robbed the other men.
That's when a struggle for one of the weapons led to a shot being fired.
The three suspects in the car were taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries from the fight and resulting car crash.
Officers later arresting 22-year-old Robert Gocha, 39-year-old Leniga Layton and 18-year-old Destinee Poret.
