Police look into apartment shooting

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating after late-night shooting rattled an apartment complex in the city.

Just after 11 p.m. Sunday officers were sent to the Pine Creek Apartments in the 800 block of Chapman Drive.

One tenant told officers they heard four shots fired.

Witnesses also told officers they heard a car speeding away from the area. 

Another tenant told officers their apartment had actually been shot at.

Officers said they were able to locate one round that had entered one of the apartments.

So far there is no suspect information, and it is not known whether the incident was a random shooting, or if the suspects were targeting a specific apartment.
