SECURITY, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man wanted on murder and kidnapping charges after he stabbed a man and took a woman from a home Tuesday morning.
According to deputies, 35-year-old Herbert Hudson from Pueblo came to the 5000 block of Wainwright Drive in Security around 11:30 a.m., stabbed a 43-year-old man and took 28-year-old Danielle Garcia from the home.
Deputies received a call from the stabbing victim's mother, who was not hurt. They searched the area but did not find Hudson or Garcia.
Deputies did not say how or if Garcia is related to the stabbing victim or his mom.
The mother said her son was stabbed upstairs, and Hudson forced Garcia out of the home at knifepoint. Deputies said there were no witnesses who saw where Hudson might have taken her.
The 43-year-old man is in critical condition.
Hudson is wanted on attempted first degree murder, first degree kidnapping, first degree burglary and criminal attempt charges. He is 6' tall and weighs 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Deputies said he may be driving a newer model Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Deputies are advising anyone who sees him to not approach, as he may be armed and dangerous.
Garcia is 5' tall and weighs 110 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
