GOLDEN, COLO. (AP) -- A man convicted of attacking an 81-year-old man in a movie theater restroom has been sentenced to six years in prison, followed by five years on parole.

The attack happened last year. Prosecutors say 40-year-old Jeffrey Sang Knouse noticed the man used a cane and followed him into the restroom, where he attacked the man from behind as the man used a urinal, knocked him to the ground, took his wallet and ran.

A jury convicted Knouse in August of seven felony counts including robbery of an at-risk adult, identity theft and criminal possession of a financial transaction device.

Knouse was sentenced this week.
