COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A second fugitive wanted out of Louisiana has been arrested in Colorado Springs.
Colorado Springs Police officers arrested Leonard Palmer Tuesday night at the Conoco Station at the corner of Tejon Street and Brookside Street in the city around 7:45 p.m.
Officers received information that Palmer was waiting for a car to pick him up at the station. Officers lured him out of hiding in the parking lot, and a K9 unit contained him.
Officers had been looking for Palmer since Monday night when they arrested Charles Mangrum, another Louisiana fugitive, at a motel on South Nevada Avenue.
They had received a tip earlier in the week from the U.S. Marshals about the fugitives being in Colorado Springs.
