COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Protesters with the Occupy Colorado Springs movement said they'll be at Acacia Park for as long as it takes.

But that's not what some business owners and their customers want to hear.

"I had a customer that parked by the park and was a little worried about her car," Dorinda Gianarelli, the What's in the Store owner, said.

A lot of downtown store owners said they are annoyed by the noise but were too scared to give their names, for fear of retaliation.

Other store owners like Terry Henderson of Boulder Street Gallery are just going with the flow.

"Everybody has a right to there opinion," Henderson said.  "I'm not for it or against it, I just hope it doesn't discourage people from coming downtown because it's a great place to be,"

Acacia Park has always been a hotspot for locals and people trying to make their voice heard.

The movement has just been at the park a little longer than some people thought it would.

"As far as myself, it doesn't bother me as long as they stay out of my way, I'm fine," Lushanda Leverette, a downtown shopper, said.

Dorinda Gianarelli, and her business What's in the Store have been located at their downtown location for 11 years, and this October business has been up 30 percent.

Gianarelli doesn't quite know why her business is improving, but it's positive.  And she said until the protesters do more than just make some noise they're within their rights.
