Late night stabbing leads to arrest

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested a man in connection with a late night stabbing.

Officers were called to a home on Meadowlark Lane near Circle Drive and Union Boulevard in the city around 10 p.m.

They said a 48-year-old man was helping a woman with her intoxicated son when the son stabbed him in the arm with a kitchen knife.

Police arrested 22-year-old Joshua Roddie for attempted first degree murder and first degree burglary.

The victim was treated for serious injuries.
