COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Forget sleeping in, friends and family were up early Monday morning to welcome home 200 soldiers to the Mountain Post.

Soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division returned home to the open arms of family around 4 a.m. Monday at Fort Carson after spending a year in Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn.

During their deployment the soldiers participated in a number of services such as communications and life support and force protection.
