COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- It was a four-legged friend that helped Colorado Springs Police officers arrest a man on a felony warrant after he was found hiding in an area home Tuesday evening.

Bail-bondsman provided police with the information that the suspect was hiding out in a home in the 4300 block of Hunting Meadows Circle in the city.

Officers were able to contain the area but the suspect, Shawn Joseph Bell, refused numerous times to comply with police instructions.

A K-9 unit was sent into the residence, found the suspect, and was able to hold on to him until officers were able to take him into custody.
