TRINIDAD, COLO. -- The earth shakes yet again in southern Colorado.
A small earthquake struck just west of Trinidad near the New Mexico border.
The U.S. Geological Survey said that the magnitude 3.1 quake rumbled just before 7:30 Monday morning and was centered about 12 miles west of Trinidad.
The Las Animas County Sheriff's Office said that so far there have been no reports of damage due to the earthquake.
Southern Colorado has shaken with numerous other quakes this year, in August a magnitude 5.3 earthquake rattled groceries off of store shelves and caused minor damage to homes and businesses in the same area.
