COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (AP) -- It took 14 Colorado Springs Police officers to break up a bar brawl that broke out when police tried to arrest a man for ignoring police commands.
Police said they were trying to arrest 24-year-old Jarius Smith for failure to disperse when his friends surrounded them.
Officers tried to arrest a second man and had to use pepper spray and a stun gun. They arrested 21-year-old Chustin Harris on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Because of the crowd size, police had to close a downtown street and called in additional officers.
