COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs man killed in a crash on Highway 115 Tuesday evening has been identified as 51-year-old Bryon Bauer.
Troopers said 26-year-old Tessa Clark and 56-year-old Beverly Merlino were both traveling southbound on Colorado 115 when Clark lost control of her car.
Clark's car hit the truck driven by Merlino, which sent the truck into the northbound lane where it collided head on with Bauer's car.
Bauer died at the scene of the crash while Merlino sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
All three had been wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating and said drugs and alcohol did not appear to be factors in the collision.
