FORT COLLINS, COLO. (AP) -- Former Gov. Bill Ritter is leading a public discussion about energy at Colorado State University.

Ritter is the director of CSU's Center for the New Energy Economy. He left office in January.

The (Loveland) Reporter-Herald reports that Thursday's public panel will include Dennis McGinn, retired vice admiral and now-president of the American Council on Renewable Energy.

The afternoon event is free and open to the public in the Lory Student Center.
