COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Metal Theft Task Force officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department found dozens of items suspected to have been stolen in previous break-ins of cars or home burglaries.

Officers searched a storage unit Aug. 16 after obtaining a warrant and found everything from power tools, hand tools, roofing tools and supplies to compound bows, collectibles and swords.

Officers are trying to contact those who had items stolen so the items can be returned. They ask that if you were a victim, look at the photos of the items and identify any you think may be yours.
