EL PASO COUNTY, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help in locating a man who robbed a Diamond Shamrock store in the 1800 block of Main Street around 11:40 p.m. Sunday.
According to deputies, the man came into the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. He got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled across the church parking lot into an adjacent field.
Deputies responded and set up a perimeter, but could not locate the man.
Deputies are describing the man as white, wearing all black clothing with light-colored gloves and a knit black mask covering his face. He's about 5'5" with a small build.
Authorities said he is armed and dangerous, and to call deputies if you see him or know who he is.
