COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are investigating a shooting that left two people dead and one in critical condition.
CSPD doesn't have a lot of details at the moment but said they got a call about multiple shots fired Friday afternoon around 5 p.m. in the 300 block of East Las Vegas Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they found one hispanic female dead inside a home and an hispanic male dead on a sidewalk from a gunshot to the head.
"I walked next door, my neighbor and I both looked over as my neighbor came through the gate, put a gun to his head and splashed himself," Lewis Chack, a neighbor, said.
A third hispanic male was found with at least one gunshot wound and has been sent to a local hospital. He's currently in critical condition.
Lt. Kirk Wilson of CSPD's Violent Crimes/Homicide Unit said, "It's unknown what the relationship of the parties involved are. It's possible they are family members,"
Police are will spend the rest of Friday night talking to neighbors trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
