COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs high school is planning a 5K run and a charity walk that would benefit Chinese orphanages in honor of four local family members who died in Wyoming last month.

Alex and Laurel Constantinides were leaving a Wyoming campground when their van was plunged into a hole and swept away by raging flood waters.

Alex survived, but Laurel and their three adopted children Hannah, Zoe, and Lucy were all killed in the accident.

The Half the Sky Foundation helps children in Chinese orphanages, a cause the Constantinides were passionate about.
