SOUTHERN COLORADO -- Colorado State troopers have arrested a man and woman after a stolen car led to a high speed chase in southern Colorado Tuesday morning.

According to troopers, somebody stole a black Honda Accord in Pueblo. When troopers attempted to pull the driver over on I-25 near Walsenburg, he did not stop. Troopers chased him southbound at speeds of 70-100 mph.

At mile marker 16, just north of Trinidad, the driver made a u-turn and went north, then exited the interstate into Trinidad.

Troopers lost sight of the car on a county road east of Trinidad, then later found it abandoned near the railroad tracks at mile marker 11.
