COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have a suspect in custody who may be responsible for a string of robberies in the area.
Just before 5 p.m. Monday police responded to the 800 block of Nevada Avenue for a man who said he wanted to turn himself in.
The suspect, 41-year-old Nathaniel Davis, who was in possession of a handgun, was arrested on an outstanding traffic warrant.
Police said Davis is suspected of robbing the Farmcrest Milk Store last week and the Lot's A Liquor store over the weekend.
