DENVER (AP) -- The Regional Air Quality Council and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment have issued an ozone alert for the Front Range.
Officials say hot temperatures, clear skies and light winds may lead to increased ozone throughout the region.
The alert is in effect until 4 p.m. Monday.
Ozone can trigger attacks for people with pre-existing health conditions, such as asthma or other respiratory infections.
