COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department has arrested two people in connection with a double stabbing Sunday morning.

It happened around 4:15 a.m. in the 900 block of Baltic Street, near S. Tejon and I-25.

Police said two men were sleeping in a vacant home in the area when they were stabbed.

They said the victims then ran to the New Hope Center on S. Sierra Madre Street for help.

From there, the men were taken to the hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

As for the suspects, investigators said a search of a neighbor's home led them to 27-year-old Randy Bishop and 22-year-old Cornelius Bates.

Both were arrested and charged with first degree assault.
