COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- What seemed to start out as a good deed has left an elderly woman in critical condition.
Colorado Springs Police said two boys were helping an elderly woman clean her driveway Monday afternoon in the 1000 block of Vega Drive near Skyway Boulevard.
When one of the teens attempted to move the woman's vehicle from the driveway, somehow the emergency brake was released.
The vehicle was in neutral and began to roll backwards, striking the woman with the open driver's side door.
The incident is under investigation.
