COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs man is in the hospital after his son reportedly stabbed him.

Investigotors said it happened around 11 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex in the 2800 Block of Airport Road.

Police reported to the scene for a domestic violence distrubance between a mother and father.

The son reportedly became involved in the disturbance and stabbed his father in the neck.

The father was immedately transported to Memorial Central Hospital, and is currently in ICU in stable condition.

Further follow-up by Violent Crimes detectives is anticipated regarding appropriate charges to be filed.
