DENVER (AP) -- Flood warnings have been issued for much of western Colorado, but one county says the rising waters haven't caused any damage.
Eagle County spokeswoman Kris Friel said Tuesday a flood advisory was issued for the county but there hasn't been any flooding since the snowpack began melting with the weekend's high temperatures.
Flood warnings have been issued for five western Colorado counties. Yampa River State Park closed access to the river where flooding is occurring.
Officials say Moffat, Routt, Jackson, Eagle and Mesa counties should all be wary of rivers cresting their banks. Flood warnings were put in place for the Elk and Yampa rivers and along their tributaries.
In north-central Colorado, meteorologists say the Poudre and Big Thompson rivers will be the main sources of flooding.
