PUEBLO, COLO. -- Pueblo police credit technology with helping them locate a stabbing victim.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon in the 100 block of South Stardust Circle in Pueblo West.
Police were responding to a report of a family disturbance but the caller hung up before giving them an address.
Communications officers were able to get the address from the caller's cellular carrier.
When officers arrived they found a 41 year old female laying on the floor with a possible stab wound.
A 44 year old male, identified as Brenden Mikus, was also injured.
Both were taken to the hospital.
After further investigation, detectives arrested Mikus.
He is being help at the Pueblo County Jail on charges of criminal attempt to commit first degree murder and domestic violence.
