PUEBLO, COLO. -- A Pueblo man has been charged with attempted murder after police arrested him in connection with a stabbing.
Officials said it happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday on South Stardust Circle.
Officers responded to a call for a family disturbance.
At the scene, authorities found a 41-year-old woman who had been stabbed.
Police said 44-year-old Brenden Mikus was also in the home and suffered some injuries.
Both Mikus and the woman were taken to the hospital.
Investigators later arrested Mikus on criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder and deomestic violence charges.
He is currently being held at the Pueblo County Jail.
