COLROADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police are investigating an overnight robbery at a Village Inn Restaurant.
The incident happened Thursday morning around 12:30.
Police say that a man entered the restaurant near Lake Avenue and I-25 and demanded money, indicating that he had a gun, although no weapon was ever seen.
The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He is being described as a white man, about 5'9'' tall and was last seen wearing black pants and a hoodie.
He also had on black sunglasses and black gloves.
