COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- New allegations are made against a Colorado Springs Police officer who has already been arrested for possession of child pornography.

The officer, 30-year-old Josh Carrier who is a seven year veteran with the CSPD, was arrested last week on charges of sexual exploitation of children.

Now some students have come forward and said Carrier touched them inappropriately.

Carrier worked as a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Horace Mann Middle School from 2009 to 2010.

Budget cuts eliminated the SRO program, but Carrier con tinued to volunteer there as a wrestling coach.

A parent said his son and some of his son's friends on the wrestling team were touched by Carrier on their genitals.

"It is kind of upsetting, knowing that somebody in a line of security, or a line of protection can do that, and it kind of makes me wonder sometimes who's actually guarding our kids?" Karen Wesolowski, whose daughter goes to Mann Middle School, asked.

Carrier's arrest affidavit stated he was found to have purchased access to child pornography sites that showed images and videos involving prepubescent children engaged in sexually explicit acts with adult men.

Police said they also found DVDs and nude images on a computer found on Carrier's bed.

"Very scary, kind of anxious to get them home and talk to them and let them know what is now being said," Laura Porter, who has two children that go to Mann Middle School, said.

Parents have mixed feelings about how District 11 is handling the situation.

"I think they're handling it just about as well as they would handle just about any other thing that would go on at a school," Wesolowski said. She also said she felt well informed. "I get emails every so often about what's going on at the schools," she said.

Porter disagreed.

"I think they could do more actually, we've only gotten one letter and that's it, just saying it after the news has already came out," Porter said.

Porter said she plans to talk with her kids about what happened and turn it into a learning lesson.

"You know you need to say something right away, don't wait," Porter said.

Officials at District 11 and CSPD declined to comment and said it was an ongoing investigation. Carrier has not been charged with anything other than the original child pornography charges.
