COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Cheri Gillard makes it look easy, but it is a difficult task. She is the mother of four quadruplets who will be graduating in the spring of 2011.
Spencer, Molly, Pierce, and Charles have all made it (and excelled) through high school. They will be attending different colleges in the fall, which will mark the first time they will spend significant time away from each other. Spencer and Molly will attend CU-Boulder, Charles will go to CSU-Fort Collins, and Pierce is going out of state to the University of Wyoming.
Teachers Greg Anderson and Cary Gutierrez sing praises of the foursome, saying they are hard workers with high levels of maturity, and their mother Cheri couldn't be more proud. She says she has worked to instill values, integrity and good citizenship to her children.
"I think the most important thing they (parents) did was to let us grow in our own space and figure things out for ourselves," oldest sibling (by two minutes), Spencer said.
And each has their own individuality. Going through life which each other has brought a strong sense of togetherness, but each has been able to determine their own identity's and go the way they choose in life.
