COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police said a man died Sunday evening after crashing his motorcycle.
According to police, the 33-year-old man was riding eastbound on Fillmore Street around 5:29 p.m. Investigators said he was going too fast and missed a left curve in the 5500 block of the street. He hit a curb and a decorative boulder.
The man died at a local hospital shortly after the crash.
He was not wearing a helmet, nor did he have a motorcycle endorsement.
Police will not release the man's name until his family has been notified.
