COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police said they are investigating a report of a shooting that happened Saturday around 9 p.m. in the city
Police were called to a local hospital for a shooting victim that had self-admitted himself to the emergency room.
The 27-year-old man said he was walking in the area of East Fountain Boulevard and Boggs Place between 9 p.m. and midnight when he was assaulted by two unknown males.
The man told police he was shot one time but wouldn't give any other information about the incident.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Officers were unable to locate the suspects at the crime scene, but the investigation is ongoing.
